Oro Vlaška - Otterholt Version Оро Влашка Serbia These notes ©2018 Andrew Carnie. Choreographed by Lee Otterholt, based on traditional steps he learned while dancing with various Vlach people in the 1970s. There is another dance called Vlaško Oro done to the same music, so this one is sometimes called Oro Vlaška II). The dance name means Vlach dance. Music : Folkraft 1568. Meter : 2/4 Formation : Short lines, belt hold or front basket hold. These notes were created with Tineke's notes open in front of me, so they are heavily influenced by her notes.  The dance is from Trabzond, which is now in Turkey. The dance was choreographed by Tineke based on traditional steps she learned in her field work. Leads to the R. The leader of the line extends their R hand up to R in the air. Introduction : 4 bars no action.
